Hello all,

I'll be researching a quote for a customer Monday but would like some general advance info, if possible.

1. How much (ballpark) does a sheet of the architectual stainless mesh cost? This is going to be the good stuff, and I'll need approx. 17 4x8 sheets. I know spacing and wire thickness must play a role...but are we talking $75 a sheet or $500 a sheet?

2. I'll be cutting the mesh to fit openings and welding on borders. Do they make some sort of chanel specifially for this or will I have to have some stainless sheet bent?

Thanks,

James

Probably too late, I have been out of town.
stainless has gone up a lot lately- it aint cheap. I would figure $150 to $200 a sheet, but quickest place to check is McNichols. They stock it all over the country, and carry a decent selection. For 100 sheets, I would go direct to a manufacturer, but for 17 sheet, McNichols is gonna be the ticket.
