I own a Victor 100FC torch with integral check valves and flashback arrestors. Browsing the net I came across something I haven't seen before regulator side flashback arrestors.
What do you guys think about these and do you use them? Do they really make the rig safer should a hose become damaged?
An example I've heard is a piece of slag damaging the line and igniting the gas causing a flashback into the regulator and possibly the cylinder.
Or are they just a another flow restriction that can cause more issues then they claim to solve?
Thanks In Advance.
