    Default Old miller L201 Heliarc

I was considering looking at this older machine locally and was curious what it is. I can't find a thing about it on the interweb. Is it scratch start, can it be used with a foot pedal, is it AC only, what is it's amperage range, does it have a gas control valve built in? Thanks for any advice.

Find something better. They are out there, there is a synchrowave 250 pretty local.

If you are doing aluminum you want at least a squarewave machine.

If nothing else there is the Miller Diversion. Only does about 160 amps but thats enough for a lot of people.

I have a 200 amp squarewave miller TIG. I want something larger for heavier work.

Then look for a synchrowave 300 or 350. Or an Aircrafter or Aerowave.
