That is actually a few years dated I believe..... I remember years ago talks about projects for military applications, but high fuel consumption and low fuel carrying capacity killed the project.... still an awesome vid

I posted that in 06. Awesome video. The guy must have no fear, to step out of a plane with that on his back, unfold the wings, and wait for the engines to warm up.

I remember when that came out.

Found his choice of music weird and dissonant to the flying and scenary. Or at least the lyrics. If you can shut the vocals out, the instrumental actually works, but going on and on about "the trouble I've seen" while soaring just doesn't.
Or maybe it's a Swiss thing
