I have to do a lot of dregreasing of parts before I work on them. Alot of brush work hanging over the solvent tank. I know there are automachines out there, but they are large and expensive.
I'd like to make my own. I picture something like a sand blast cabinet with a high pressure delivery of my solvent to the part. Which is SOLSAFE 245, 145F flashpoint, 149000v/cm.

Question is are there pumps out there that are safe to pump sovlents at high pressure with out explosion hazards?
Does anyone have any experience or words of caution on this?
Design suggestions?
Thank you.

I have a parts washer built by Graymills that has a pump with and compressed air powered solvent pump. I got it at auction and have not used it so I don't know how well it works. It was used in a clean area for semiconductor work and I think it was used with alcohol and that was the reason for the inherently explosion proof pump. I will get the model number next time I am in my warehouse.
