Thread: Hamar laser alignment systems ?

Anyone familiar with laser alignment sytems used to set up and align large machine tools ? Have any idea the price on a dual scan such as this one www.hamarlaser.com/systems/L722/index.htm ?

Go here, http://benchrest.com/wwwboard/ and ask for Jackie Schmidt, I think he uses one, runs a shop in Tx. some were.

I'd just be guessing at the cost but I would expect 7-9000.
It is easy to use and beats the heck out of dial indicators and id mics.

Talked with Hamar Laser this morning. The lowest priced single scan set is about $14,000 and the triple scan set is $33,000 !!
