What is "Dairy Metal"?

Its Probably a metal like Waukesha #7
from Waukesha foundries (Wisconsin....find their website for info)
The metal is in the Cupro-Nickel Alloy Family
Don't recall the mix, but its like 40 % nickel and 60 % Copper. That makes it a non hazardous metal for food processing.
It machines like Cast Iron, but looks like Stainless Steel...only softer
