Bridgeport on neoprene mounts?

I want to level my lathe and mill on Mason neoprene machinery mounts. I don't see a problem on the lathe, but the Bridgeport has a hollow cast base, so it seems like the machine would be sitting up quite a ways on some rather spindley little 1/2 inch studs. How do people do this? Or don't they?

used 3/4 x 4 bar stock across the front and back pairs of holes. Be aware these are on different centers so measure them both. Nut under the bar and on top of the base.

We just set 4 bridgports up on peices of
heavy rubber-like material, one at each corner
and large enough to reach a short way along
adjacent sides. It seems to work to "smoothe"
out the uneven floor. Didn't worry about
"level". :)
...lew...
