Anyone got a graphic of steel swarf coils ?

Somewhere, I have a full size shot of a carbide button insert running the profile of a big cable pulley...or is it sheave...I can't find it. May be on the computer at work. I'll look monday.

Unfortunately, didn't have a camera when I DID run a sizable machine. Had I, I could have shown you a "moderately sized" coil, about 4 inch D, 50 feet long, .5 DOC and .042 feed.

Those with carbide inserts. Forged tool or HSS tool, we could grind to break the chips into rigatoni sized chips. My own machine mates took raw tools, no grind, and PUSHED the steel off, dark blue hoops of steel, machine groaned.

That pic above of that coil that looks like a clock spring cannot possibly be what you are looking for, can it?
