If you can find a manual for a Rhodes shaper or Milwaukee/Manley die filer, I'd love to hear about. I've got product brochures on both but have never seen even a reference to manuals so they may never have been produced.

I would be interested in a manual for a
MAKINO C-40 Tool & Cutter grinder should you find a source.

Also a Bufaloo Forge #20 drillpress with automatic down feed. A later version.

Fosdick 3ft sensitive radial drill, circa 1928

L&S lathe, circa 1918

Van Norman 2G bridge mill, circa 1968

Operators manuals, not sales brochures, I have those.

I suspect RCS was thinking more in terms of some Asian machines that Rutland has sold in the past. But you guys probably knew that and just like to torment

No torment from this end Don. I have been looking everywhere for these so I am giving him a chance to share my wonderful feelings knowing it is a lost hope.
Kinda like looking into the heavens and seeing a star without knowing whats really inside.
I pause a moment to wipe my watery eyes.
This is what I feel when I look at Betty and Matilda (my machines) knowing I can only see the outside without realizing the finer workings inside each that they give all they have for me and I cannot help them when they fall ill.

As I wipe m teary eyes once more.

That's a Steptoe-Western 12X HIGH-SPEED UNIVERSAL TOOLROOM shaper, Matt. Give him all the info so he can find it more easily.

Don, I can't believe you would say such a thing. We are merely trying to give this fine fellow a chance to do something nice for the group as a whole. Most times we just have to post our manual requests and hope somebody can help. Here is somebody ready and willing to search out manuals for us!

Several of us have pre-1920s L&S lathes and have never seen an original manual for one. I think it will be interesting to see what he comes up with. I also have one of these Steptoe-Western shapers and want to find out more about it myself.

Oh yeah, how about a Dreses radial drill manual, parts manual, and new parts? Set of bevel gears for the spindle drive? I had to make new gears on a shaper to get it working, but it'd be nice to get a new set.

I picked up a B&S 1224 Micromaster Surface Grinder.
Not a single scrap of paper with it, no service manual or parts or anything.

Can Anyone help with that?

It looks nice, with hydraulics for everything, and a counter for spark out passes.

Thanks!
Pete
