PLEASE do not climb cut with your saw. All stationary cutting/milling requires that the workpiece be held/registered down (to the table) and against (horizontal) the fence. Climb cutting with your saw LIFTS the workpiece from the table- the circular rotation of the blade will grab the workpiece & throw it @ 110- 140 mph! This will ruin the workpiece, if nothing else.
Machine tool methods of climb cutting physically hold (vise/clamp) & restrain/feed (typically worm fed bed)
.
You mentioned using magnetic featherboards to hold your work-
I demonstrate & sell the magnetic feather board (Grip Tite) at shows everywhere in the USA- my brother manufactures them.

Featherboards will hold your workpiece when properly used- infeed & outfeed.
Climb cutting is very tricky (w/ featherboards because all chips/swarf/gummies must be clear BEFORE the workpiece advances.

I suggest:
contact Freud & Tenyru about blades;
ask them about alum cutting fluid.
alum gums up everything (vacuum?)

Contact me about featherboard set-up.

thanx, mike
I apologize for late response-
thus, new post.
