I have a pair of front end spindles, with drums, that came off of, so i am told, a Rambler. They have a 4 bolt pattern, and were bolted onto a home made axle for my utility trailer.
Hate to throw them away. Anyone know of a place to post them?

Back in the 6os, when they were plentiful in the bone yards,I made countless small trailer
and log splitter axels out of them. I had a standing order at the junk yard for all he got in. I used to just weld them to a pipe or square tube, made a quick and neat job, easy to square up. Never used the brake drums, just the spindle & center hub. The good part was Chrysler or Ford 13", 14" or 15" wheels would work.
There's 3 or 4 logsplitters in the neighberhood I built, still running on them. DAVE
[ACME THREAD]

AMC kept the flange stub axle design for years, which makes it really easy to convert to a disc setup off a mid 80"s Spirit/ Concord.
American Motors used a lot of " parts bin engineering" .

ETA It's normally post count related, hit so many posts and you can post ads.
