Hello. I have never programmed acme threads and need help. I am making two parts on a doosan lathe. The lathe has fanuc controls. The first part requires a four pitch acme, external thread. The OD is 2 inches and the thread length will be 3.5" Using a kennametal 4 pitch threading insert. I need a G76 program. The second part requires a 4 pitch acme thread, 5.5" long. This will be made of brass. This part needs to screw onto the first part. Using a one inch dia bar with a home ground 4 pitch threading insert. Could use a G76 program for this too. I would really appreciate the help and will study and keep this info for future acme threading ops. Thank you.-
