OT- YouTube uploading problems?

Anybody else here have problems uploading videos to YouTube?

Almost every time I upload a video on YouTube I get "communication error". The bummer is this is usually after at least 10-15 minutes of time wasted.

On average I would say it takes me 3-5 tries per video to upload successfully.

I'm in Sarasota, Florida and use Verizon FiOs, wonder if anybody else is experiencing the same issues?

I've been having a different problem. Videos load all the way, but then don't play, or play only the first couple of seconds. I haven't tried a second computer, but suspect it's a problem with whatever version of Flash I last got.

duh. I just realized on second reading that this thread is about uploading, not downloading. I will blame the beach volleyball finals for the distraction.

Heck, I gave up trying to register on YT. I could never find a username that wasn't already being used. It's pretty bad when "w8i4n7C5h1m2a8N" is "not available".
