This is much easier than picking a lock. Most of the typical door locks sold can be defeated this way.

On another forum a member posted this helpful info:
"I am a locksmith by trade. If you want a pick proof lock, buy a Medeco. They come in 3 levels of security. If you have a house you can buy a Schlage "A" or "D" series knob or lever lock and put a Medeco cylinder in it. If you have a shop with a front glass door buy a Medeco mortise cylinder for both the inside and outside of the door. If you lose your Medeco keys you pretty much have to physically destroy the lock to get in."
