Milling Machine Mill - business/commercial - by owner - sale

tony has some pictures on lathes.uk.

Famup R.A.G. "TCSV" & "R.A.G. 40" Mill/Drill

is it a drill press or a mill?

looks like a deckel on glue...

instead of the head , the TABLE nods and tilts...
i want to check it out.
Famup is Italian...I used to sell Famup leadscrew tappers (new). Mill just seems to be of the usual Bridgeport concept....nothing in common with the Deckel style other than they both are mills.

yep , nothing deckel about this .

you are correct . looks just like any old bpt . to you.

with a universal EVERYTHING,.
Less like a Bridgeport than I realized but still nothing like a Deckel, which are gear drive, integral power feeds, always has horizontal spindle, Y axis is ram and tables are completely removable for different styles. Basic design of the Famup reminds me more of an Aciera jig borer....except the Aciera would be way better quality. Famup is kinda middle of the road Italian stuff.

Agreed. Famup is a very strange name, by the way. Does not conjure images of stout, productive machine tools.
Better name than Duff milling machines... for real....a Bridgeport style make in the 50's in California I think. Looks pretty nice actually
