A long time ago someone posted a link to a tap chart that when by percentage for 0-80 to 11/2 12 thread it was by Standard Tool co is what is on my ratty copy. And now I can't find there web site. This chart would list from about a 80% to a 50% percent of thread. I had printed it out on two pages of 8.5x11 size paper. So I am looking for some links. The Starrettt chart Doesn't get it for me. I Order some and gave them to the school.
Thanks
David

It exist here

One place it is published was in a 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch booklet put out by Morse. It is titled "Machinist's Practical Guide". Original copyright 1929, last revised in 1957 (in my copy).

On page 36 it starts a table for thread percentages 50% to 100% by 10s, The screw size ranges from 0 to 1" It also has a 4 columns detailing 20 different material with percentage ranges for a specific tap drill.

My copy came from Queen City Supply Co. in Cincinnati, OH. Prolly does not exist now. :-)

I know it would help a lot more if I could copy/photo it, but I can not right now. Maybe it will jog someones memory that can.
