I am looking for some good material regarding 3 phase (or AC in general) electricity and components, like motors and motor drives. I have found some different sites using a google search, and they seem good, but I was wondering if there is a comprehensive book out there, like the old "How to run a lathe" book from south bend for lathes or something similar. Everything at my new job is industrial 3 phase power and it would behoove me to know as much as possible.

Any help would be great!

thanks,

-Matt

You might need to go onto Amazon and do a book search. I am thinking that anything shy of a college text book on the subject would be open to a bit of interpretation. I have seen really good books, by experts on the topic that the book covered, that still had questionable information in them. I guess that is where the world of hot rodding and machinework come together...8 ways to get the same results, some more correct(read: safer) than others...
