Good afternoon, all --
Do any of you know of a "generally recognized" way of translating old-style class-of-fit designations to current-style designations? I'm particularly interested in translating "thumb press fit" as applied to a 3/8 inch diameter pin, but it would be handy to have translations for the whole range from "loose running" down to "heavy press".
