CBN cutoff wheel for SS sheet

I have to make a bunch of cuts on SS sheet, 716 and .060". Cuts no longer than 3 inches. I have a fine blade for the Vert band saw, but thinking the SG with a fresh CBN wheel .045" may be easier on the operator (me). Because of the shape I cannot stack the material, which would make a slam dunk for the saw if possible.

I can bolt the work to a block set square on the mag chuck, that the idea.

Your thoughts please.

If you are now cutting it with a bandsaw,I presume the material is in its unhardened state.In other words it is typical tough stainless steel. I think cbn grinding wheels were developed to grind hardened steel not tough steel.They are moslt used to grind hispeed steel end mills and such.Edwin Dirnbeck
 
I would try cbn as a last resort.
Old school abrasive cutoff wheel as mentioned above is what I would use.
