10 inch buck chuck no visible damage. Two jaws become tight after about 1 inch of travel.
3rd jaw travels smoothly. Top of rail mics within 001 bottom of rail difference of oo7.

Any advice. Thanks, Alex

Last time I looked, rebuilding service was a significant part of Bucks' offering. OTOH, it was only listed - or economic - on larger chucks.

A 10"? Probably wisest to just buy a new one. You can certainly invest time in messing with this one, but at the end of it all, expect scroll damage, so TIR and trustworthiness will probably only be good enough for use as a welding positioner, maybe a rotab or DH mount where it is probably too large and heavy for comfort

"s**t happens" category, budget-wise.

Take the chuck apart. Try all the jaws in all the slots to determine whether the jaw has a bend or the slot has the bend. Might be able to restore with a bit of honing if you can determine the problem. The chuck is probably second rate, but it doesn't take much of a scuff to make a jaw hang up.
