Hello I am new to this sight so apologies if I have followed protocol, I have a Colchester 7.5 triumph lathe one with the round type head stock and it's missing the spindle bush to be able to turn between centers, 5mt is to small and 6mt is to big could any one please shed some light on this ?

Could have a look through tonys site, it mentions and american external keyed taper spindle, I only glanced but couldnt see anything on the internal taper.
You could measure it, could be a jarno perhaps?

thanks for this sometimes you can't see the forest from the trees. For some reason I thought mt on the tail stock logically mt in the head stock, I will measure up now and maybe do cad drawing with my dimensions
