This should be simple, but it isn't turning out to be.
We have the same mill as this one: http://www.smidgie.com/928/machineshop/comet/index.html, bought at auction from Canada, and it came with a very bad variable speed belt. The timing belt is fine.
Can anyone recommend the right belt for a 5HP 10x50 NMTB40 head? It looks exactly like the one in the link, except the taper.
The belt was a 2330V338, and we replaced it with the same one, but it seems too long to me.
