Troubles with an Amada saw, the repeat sticks.

So, we have an old Amada HA-400 saw that has multi-stroke capability. It uses this Koyo counter thing to choose if you want it to run the shuttle once, or inchworm several times to set the length of the cut. Lately when it finishes a cut it clamps the shuttle jaws, unclamps the main jaws, runs the shuttle in, and then freezes. Both lights on the Koyo multi-counter light up, (normally the one on the left should shut off and then the saw comes down)
I am betting it is a relay, timer, or momentary switch (though I don't think it is the switch, because that is what lights the two lights up on the counter when it comes in)
Does anyone have any experience with these saws? Is it the clamp confirm thing maybe?
Thanks for any insight/opinions!
