Blue and has written on it- F, 103M , 2kv . Its about 7/16 in high rounded top and flattened out and not quite 1/8 in thick. Will radio shack have one of these, cuz I broke one lead off this one with my big thumb.

That should be a .001uf 2kv cap.

Need a pic to tell what kind. What color is it?

102 or 10x100pf = 0.001 uF, so 103 will be 10x1000pf= 0.01 uF ( I hope)

Looks convincing. It is the same value as 10 nF (since 1000 pF = 1 nF). If memory serves, the M means 20% tolerance

It goes on a plasma cutter in the ground wire between the isolated main heatsink to the case frame. Would it kill anything to go without it for a few days until I get the new cap mail order? Could I just run a wire to ground for now? Thinking maybe its there for radio suppression or something?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I confirmed it is a :

0.01UF 2KV Radial ceramic disc capacitor

EPO in Houston doesnt have any KV rated caps.
