I really hate to post this here - but I haven't been able to get any response in the Antique forum - I'm getting desperate and I really want to start on this part this weekend.
I can't figure out how to get the knee crank assy out of the knee. The Clausing 8520, which is the direct descendant and basically same machine as the Johannson, has a set screw that retains the assy, but I can't find anything of the sort on my machine. I took off the hub, the dial and lock-nut, but still haven't made any progress. Does anybody know or have any ideas on how this assy comes out? I promise I'll post pics when I'm done! Thanks
