    Default forging machine

    I would like to know working of Friction screw Press used For forging.Can anyone pls help me in knowing working principle of the same.

    I assume you are talking about what is commonly called a "fly press".

    has an entire site just about flypresses, and their tooling.

    Generally these presses have multiple start screws, so they move a large distance for the amount you rotate the handle.
    Some presses with only single start screws are just too slow, and dont hit hard enough, to do this work.
    Speed is essential, as the dies will suck the heat out of a piece very quickly.
