i bought a few lots of pullers at an estate auction and in the lots there were some tools that i would like to try to identify. first up is this batch which contains some spanners, a puller and what looks like some type of slugging wrench.

the rest of the detailed pictures can be seen in this directory.

so next i have this interesting looking binder. the 'cover' is spring loaded and it has a holder that swivels on a pin if you want to keep the cover open.

the rest of the detailed pictures of the binder can be seen in this directory.

finally i have a question about many of the pullers that i found in my lot. there were many different brands of pullers. the CP one is pictured above as well as those spanners. lots of pullers and tools by different companies including K.R. Wilson but this is the catch almost all part numbers start with AT. For example the part number on a puller might be AT-1509. i'm figuring these part number might have been given my a particular company and all the different suppliers had to make to their spec and include the buying companies part number. i know for sure that the K.R. Wilson pullers are for Fords. any ideas on this?

The lower right puller is for removing the pulley on a power steering pump. The hammerhead looking tool is part of what I call a knocker puller that removes wheel hubs from a two-piece axle. My first thought of the spanners were for axle work also.

    Hi rudolf,

The slugger that you are referring to is the part put on a puller that removes rear brake drums from cars that have the taper mount in the hub. This goes over/on the drive stem of the puller and lets you whack on it. Pops the hub off the axle. A real popular puller with mechanics that worked on Volkswagens. Had three arms that mounted on a round disk. You fastened the arms with the lug nuts to the brake drum.

The two small pieces look like special spanners that you can use 1/2" drive handles with.

I don't recognize what they fit.
