Help identifying strange air pump for compressed air system

Hello,

I am thinking about purchasing this pump, can anyone identify it? I would like to know if it is any good, rebuild-able ect. It was paired with a 1750 RPM 5HP 3PH motor, so I am thinking it could be a good pump for a quiet environment. The seller has been unable to provide me with information to identify it.

It looks like the pump was coupled directly to the motor shaft as the motor has a matching red coupler. (If that helps)

Thanks!

A recip at 1750 RPM is going to be the opposite of quiet.

Under 400 RPM will be nice and quiet.

Does not look like anything great to me.

I agree with Garwood that with that Lovejoy coupling at 1750 RPMs is going to make the devils noise. If you mount it on a base plate and reduce the speed with some sheaves it would be a lot quieter.

I've got a near identical looking compressor. Mine has the motor face bolted directly to the crankcase. It's very noisy and but makes plenty of air for its size. Open crankcase makes me think it will have a limited lifespan. I keep it in an outbuilding and only use it for inflating tires and such. So for me, noise and long life are not an issue.
