I got tired of Grizzly's pi** poor customer service and had my motor repaired. The mill is back in running condition but I noticed the motor getting too hot to touch after an hour of light use. Here is my observation. The motor fan is at the bottom and is supposed to push air through the motor to provide cooling. However the motor is completely enclosed and air can not pass through. Can I remove the top plate of the motor and drill some holes in it to provide a place for hot air to escape?
