I have a perfectly good 10" P & B lathe chuck that needs new Jaws. I contacted P & B here in the UK only to be informed that they no longer supply/manufacture parts for imperial chucks but will gladly sell me a new 250mm replacment chuck at a vast cost.

I was hoping that our North American cousins can recommend a supplier that still produces imperial sized jaws.
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

PS A "Chuch" is just like a chuck ! LOL !

I have bought new collet chucks and soft jaws from them over the years and quality is good.
You will find that the price of hard jaws for three jaw chucks,if you can find them, makes buying another chuck an attractive proposition.
As I mentioned when I was in the other day, throw the three jaw away and learn to use a four jaw.You will find with a bit practice that it takes no time to chuck something and it`s more accurate and a better grip.
In fact go the whole hog and leave the "lathe" attached to the chuck when you throw it. :D
