Last Weekend I purchased at a local auction a three way vise. The only ID reads "National, Made in Japan". Very nice quality with dovetail slides throughout. I've already disassembled, cleaned, oiled and reassembled it. Photos are as it sits right now.
Does anyone know about "National"? I'd like to know a little more about the accuracy specifications.
On the underside is a threaded boss and I think there is something missing like possibly a brace to stabilize the crank end of the vise. A photo of one of these complete would be helpful.
