Need clapper assmebly for 7" South Bend shaper

Hello all,
I need the clapper assembly for my 7" South Bend shaper. In fact, any clapper assembly from a shaper that size could probably be modified to work. Does anyone have anything for sale?

Do you have a mill (horz or vert), that would be an easy project and you would have the ability to make the part "tight" enough as it should be. JRouche

I don't have one for sale but I would be glad to take some close ups and provide some dimensions if you are interested in making your own. You should consider the clapper design that places the cutting edge of the tool directly beneth the pivot pin. This results in less chatter and overall cleaner, smoother, opertion.
