With the new low NOX requirements here in So Cal we have been struggling with fuel / air ratios and the very fine line between correct operation and emission compliance, new to us now is the Maxon / Honeywell system onboard flame safety / fuel - air computer. This system uses 2 mod motors and an adjustable ratio between the two via a touch screen control, the fuel / air curve can be adjusted on the fly based on the burners firing rate, the days of adjusting linkage for fuel/air ratios are over! A new curve can be set for dual fuel burners if required, just by touching a button to "fuel 2" you can burn an alternative fuel that has its own ratio pre-loaded.

Very slick.

I have used the smartlink system from Maxon for a few applications. Pretty nice units as well.
Is there positioning feedback from the mod motors?

Yes, there is, even if someone pushed the release button on one of the motors and repositioned it, it would still attempt to correct itself by moving the other motor, if either one is out of program parameters, it will fault and show which mod motor is out of available stroke.
This is our first one here on the West coast, hope to see more of them.
