OT -- Any opinions on Insect Foggers

In the 14 years I have lived here in North Central Florida, the mosquitoes are presently the worst ever. Does anybody have and experience with hand-held propane foggers? Pros and Cons?

North FL and formerly S FL right on the Glades...

They're great when they work, I can never get them to work as advertised more than a couple times. I've had about 6 different brands. The cheapie from depot wound up turning into a flame thrower, couldn't get the temp right. Spent $70 on one from Amazon recently based on the reviews, works great the first couple times out of the box, then started just weeping insecticide and squirting liquid, wasting the crap that costs $10 a bottle.

look into a commercial one.i saw one a friend has,its about 10 years old.
we have a system in place,that lasts for 6 to 8 months.its called winter.....mosquito bites are nothin compared to frostbite.

Malathion in a pump sprayer is your best bet. That's what the counties use in the mosquito trucks and Copters.
