Sometimes the customer does not need to know how much Hi Tech was used. I use thousands of sleeves and got stuck with a lot of sleeves a few thou under spec. So I made a sleeve expander. I took a piece of Thomsom shaft and started pounding around the rim on the slight chamfer with a hammer. End started to mushroom. I measured and pounded some more. I forced a sleeve over the the expanded end from the small end and measured, and pounded a bit more. Cut it off, drilled it, put it on the post. Press on a sleeve, add another and press. When the post is full pull it off and drop sleeves in a bucket. I made 2 sizes.
