On my quest to find a lathe and milling machine, I am finding little in the Seattle area- if I find a promising machine in So-Cal, or the NJ area, are there folks who do inspections, prior to shipping? Sure would be nice to have a qualified person to look over a lathe or mill.
Thanks, Stoneaxe.

I have done this for other dealers, so call around for a independent dealer in the area and offer them 250 bucks for a inspection. I do the inspection as if i was going to buy it myself and include any points the buyer may have, but don't expect any guarantees if something isn't right, I sure wouldn't give one.
