Any Shop Owners out there willing to share some Worker's Comp ins rate experience?
I'm located in Northern California with obout $120000 in machine shop labor compensation. My rate was about $4.87 per $100 last year with Republic Indemnity. After some discouts it comes down to $4.40. I haven't had any claims for about 5 years. It's due to renew in July and I was wandering if anyone knows of a better rate.
Got a flyer from an insurance broker in Sacramento claiming $3.16.
I figure with business, health and worker's comp I'm shelling out over $25,000 per year. Good, bad or so-so?
