Aloris CA tool post parts?

I picked up a nice Aloris CA tool post with quite a few tool holders today. It shows as being for 14 - 20" swing lathes. The T is just slightly too big to fit my old Reed Prentice 16" lathes compound.

Can the T-nut be switched out to fit a smaller compound t-slot or is this not reccomended? I checked the Aloris site but could not find anything about this.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping that was the case as I got a pretty good deal on the set. This is my first time even handling a quick change setup like this... It will be a nice change from the old turret tp.
