The 13/4-8 thread is an acme thread. I hope I can find collets for this, because this is an exceptionally nice chuck. I could probably modify it to accept 3J collets.
 
Another vote for L&S. A flock of collets just went off ebay. If tapered and keyed it is likely L1, if straight bore with no key, it is for the double spindle nose L&S

L&S collets were acme thread I believe
 
L-1, oh well, lol. I'd love to find a factory collet chuck for my old L&S. Think the old collets had ears on the side instead of the acme thread on the back, though.
