Hey everyone! I once watched a video that showed an old clockmaker cutting gears. He had a brass blank connected to a dividing head and a cutter spinning nearby. He'd push a little lever and the dividing head would rotate automatically to the next setting, and then he'd manually pull the cutter down to cut the next tooth.
Does there exist a dividing head that allows the angle to be changed a consistent amount on a single pull of a lever? I apologize if this is a silly question, but usually it seems that changing the angle on a dividing head is a little more involved and time-intensive. Tried to find the video so I could reference it, but it's been a few years and I couldn't track it down.
