I have a yellow jacket vacuum pump. It uses an internal splined rubber sleeve between the motor and pump. It split and threw the sleeve off today. All I can find on the Ritche site is a spider type drive coupling. Which should work but I would rather not have to remove and adjust the drive ends if I can just buy a new sleeve. Where can I determine what size I need and where to buy one. The pump is US made so I assume this is all English size shafts.

looks like this, not sure if this one would fit at all, just a picture for you.
Urethane Sleeves, Size B, Gear Grip, Flexible Shaft Couplings (1 Each): Gear And Sleeve Couplings: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

comes in sizes A through E but no mention of dimensions.

I have seen a coupling like that used on oil burners for hot water boilers (domestic water heating units for home use). The pump that injects the fuel oil in to the fire box has a coupling that the pump and the blower is driven from the motor shaft. The one I had apart was 1/2" dia. but others sizes were available.

good luck!
