Have questions re these “S” grade steel capscrews:
1. Couldn’t find exact match for maker (VB7 code?)in the 2011 DLA fastener index. Maybe they were gone by 2011 since these bolts may have been procured ca. 1989 if the “k” number is a contract number.http://quicksearch.dla.mil/docimages/a/0000/0006/6904/000005717761_000000227671_mfevvyqeba.pdf
2. Is the 0.15” deep blind hole in end of the screw a lathe center hole or something needed for the function of this capscrew?
Threads maj dia 0.616”, shank 0.622”
