Got a job to drill 1.2mm thru 3/4 wall 6061 alum tubing.
I will be doing this in a dm4800 machining center 6000 rpm spindle
I wil run at full speed. It works out to around 70 sfm. Using standard jobber length drills.
spotting drill first, Then peck 1 drill dia. thru the 3/4 wall. .001 feed per rev. flood coolent.

Anyone see any potential problems? there is only 1 hole per tube but the tube is already finished machined.

According to my lists your 3/4 depth is greater than the flute length on 1.2 jobber drill (16mm) , which IMHO means you're in to long series territory.

I'll second the;- talk to your drill supplier.
