Is Tool Making your passion - Listen to the noise

Yzerman. Backbone of the 90's teams.

I think these installments are imperative. I was just talking to another over 50 coworker the other day about this very thing. We were both being "schooled" in the latest version of MasterCam by a young 30ish coworker. I was amazed at the fluency this dude had taking a solid model that had almost NO dimensions on the drawing and creating a toolpath. I was actually blown away. I commented later to the other guy my age that it was kind of humbling to have a much younger guy show us a very efficient way to do things. Finesse and old-school knowledge in the shop are things that are not being taught nowadays, and I think that the new generation of metalsmiths may miss that stuff altogether. The new technology is VERY impressive though, and this young guy has a very bright future in this industry.

Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Really enjoyed the intro!
