I just recently picked up a "used" Southwestern Industries Trak 102 DRO but unforturnately it didn't come with any documentation. It is in near "perfect" condition though. Does anyone have any experience setting up one of these units for a milling machine ? Also, where would I be able to pick-up a copy of a Operator's Manual for this DRO ? Thanks for any helpful informations...

SWI has a area of free documentation on their website. But I don't see it extending to their DROs. You should probably give them a call.

I'm pretty familiar with them. Do you have all spring bases? Do you have both read heads? How complete is your system?

I purchased a Trak 102 DRO. The Product Code on the back of the unit is Trak 100, the Part Code on the back of the unit is T102-BP, and the System Code is Q54217. I went to SWI and they wanted to charge me $35 for a replacement set. I found a copy elsewhere. Send me your postal address and I'll gladly send you a copy.
