Hey guys!
I was at CMTS last week and took a bunch of video while I was there! The show was pretty decent, saw a lot of robotic tending this year. There were even some really nice manual machines there though I didn't get any footage of those. Here's the video:

Index:
0:21 - DMG MORI DMC 125 U DuoBlock
0:38 - Hiwin linear drive demo
0:56 - Kuka robot arm with laser cutter
1:11 - Makino F5
1:42 - Samsung MCV500
2:14 - Yaskawa robot with ultrasonic knife
2:33 - KUKA coffee-making robot cell
2:46 - KUKA collaborative robot demo
3:18 - DMG MORI CMX1100V (want!)
3:56 - DMG MORI DMU 60 eVo linear
4:14 - Samsung SL2500
5:23 - FANUC robotically tended robodrill
6:18 - FANUC 3D binning and loading demo
6:50 - Fadal VMC 4020 BII
7:18 - Tongtai GT800E
7:47 - Matsuura VX1500
8:06 - Mikron Mill E 500 U
8:25 - Hartford robotically tended VMC

Thoughts/notes from the show:
1) I really want a Mori CMX1100V... Wanted one for a while but seeing it person reinforced that. Fast, sleek looking, nice control, great standard options and only a hair more expensive than a VM3.

2) Interesting to see Fadal at the show! The new 4020 looks a lot like the old one. New DATC is a lot faster than the old carousel changer. Would have liked to see it cutting.

3) The Samsung mills look pretty nice. No idea why they decided on such a long tool for their milling demo, I would have liked to hear/see some hogging! The machines look well built though and the prices are very reasonable. Been eyeing these for a while.

Hope you guys enjoy the video!
