I scored a Quill Master for a very nice price, but see that the collet does not for the little attachment. What is the collet style for this little guy?
Does anyone use theirs and for what type of job? I got this from a retiring Pattern Maker.
There's a collet in the quillmaster. I was told a while back that only 2 collets came standard with the QM, 1/8 &1/4 (I though that there were 4). The QRA (lower picture) stands for Quillmaster Right Angle, takes N-2 collets. AFAIK, 4 sizes: 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, & 1/4. Hardinge gets $95 ea.

The little right angle attachments are usually priced pretty high on Ebay. I got lucky and got one that needed just a little repair for $15.00 for my Quill Master. I don't think its tiny gears would be safe for more than a 1/8" shank cutter.
