You can probably buy a new one faster and probably for less expense than making one.

There's a dealer in New York (state) here that has a good supply of new old-stock parts for Black Diamond drill grinders. You have one of the newer ones, so you can also get parts from Black Diamond here in Massachusetts, though you'll pay more and they are harder to deal with.

Rush Machinery of Rushville NY will be honest with you and tell you if they'll ship to France.

    hello Pixman,
    thank you for the address.
If you have a Black Diamond, can you take a picture of your wing cam?
After wieving, j can choose if i make it or if j buy at Rush 's shop.
    regards

You are going to need more than a photo to make a wing cam. Without a good drawing there is almost no chance to get it correct. The grinder is useless without an accurate wing cam.

    hello,
thank you very much, Michael, for your pictures.
Like the third photo, can you photography the other side of the wing cam ? ("flat photo", after removal of handwheel).
Moonlight machine, if the active part of the cam is a part of circle, it seems realistic to make it.
thank you all for your help.

well, well, well.... J 'll try to made wing cam. If the results are no satisfactory, it will be time to buy.
Michael, can you measure 3 dimensions on wing cam for me? lenght (between tips), width (narrow part of the cam), and diameter of screw ("socket set screw") on Wing cam.

I have a dimensioned drawing of a wing cam for the 1.12" holder. I made one a few years ago. I will see if I can dig it up.

    Sorry for the delay.

The length is 4.160". Those two set screws that are sticking out of the back side of the cam are 1/4"-20. As for the narrow part of the cam, you'll have to show me exactly where you want me to measure.

Might I interest you in a used Black Diamond master collet holder?

    p8190823.jpg

As you may be able to tell it is in less than prefect condition.
Would $50 and shipping work for you?

    Is this close enough?
    I have used it on a 90-AB.
#11 is broken and I can not include a #13.

I do not own an extra 9/16 collet.... I did talk to a buddy that would sell one for $25. I also spoke with the nice lady at UPS and she said without an address or postal code her best guess would be between $40 and $60.

Which would make the total bill:$115 to $135
$50 for the Wing Cam ( mine)
$25 for the 9/16 collet ( my buddies)
    $40 to $60 shipping.
