A number 7-32 thread is used on scope mount for an early rifle. I found I could make the screw by adjusting a 6-32 die head to larger dimension (.151"). In restoring an antique gun, it is not proper to change thread sizes. Many early guns had odd/special threads. Purchased screws are usually a close approximation and have to be forced. Another hard item to find is die punches with serifs. Need those too. Thanks

Are not some bore brushes 7-32 also? It is not possible to use a #8 in some small cleaning rods and still maintain strength.
Cheers from Darkest California,

Thanks, Joe21 for the 7-32 die nuts. They worked fine and I finished making the three screws in less than 1 hour. Lots of great people out there still.
